Confidentiality & Privacy Policy
The law protects the relationship between a patient and his/her doctor, and information cannot be disclosed without written permission.
However, there are exceptions to the confidentiality to which Dr. Kress is legally obligated to take action. These include:
- Being a mandated reporter of suspected abuse to the local protection service
- Receiving a court order to release treatment information
- Through professional judgment, thinking your child is an imminent danger to the safety of self or others
